I thought maybe we needed a little more whimsy this month. When I was a kid, the dishes we would use for special occasions were my grandmother’s Blue Willow China dishes from England. I loved getting lost in the intricate little scenes on each dish. And because they were the dishes that we used to make so many meaningful holidays and celebrations, I have always loved the monochromatic look of transferware. So this month’s design is a collage of an imaginary pastoral world like one that might be found on a beloved dish. Good luck with all your August hustle and bustle. Much love, always,
