It’s October 1st!

For the past few months, I’ve found myself creating these desktop artworks less from a single clear image and more from a mood or a feeling, and this month is no different. October’s design began with an old, blurry black and white photograph of a gazebo tucked away in the woods. There’s something haunting about it, almost like a forgotten world’s fair ride..

Layered over that I added the gradient of autumn—the fiery oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows that speak of the trees’ last brilliant performance before the hush of winter. It feels like October itself: vibrant, a little mysterious, and full of change.
